There could be a couple of reasons why the pillow that you received doesn't quite feel the same as the one in the hotel.
1. Brand New vs Used
The pillow that you slept on in the hotel has been slept on, and probably washed, hundreds of times. This routine wear and tear can break down the material in the pillow giving it a softer feel. The pillow that you receive from us is brand new, so it might feel a little firmer than the pillow that you remember.
2. Using Pillow Protectors
Quite often hotels use pillow protectors that are a size smaller than the pillow to keep them plump and supportive throughout the night. This is done to prolong the longevity and comfort of the pillow. Another trick that housekeeping often uses is to put a pillow protector on, and then fold in the open end of the pillowcase in on itself. This also keeps the filling in the pillow from moving around too much. So if your new pillow feels softer or flatter than the one you experienced at the hotel, this might be the reason.
